Product Introduction
AFLAS 90 Shore black (Tetrafluoroethylene propylene) is a fluoroelastomer with good resistance to chemicals. One great advantage compared to FPM types lies in the resistance to water and steam.Available in hardness of 70,80 and 90.Typical maximum service temperature is 200℃ although higher temperature can be sustained in some media:eg,260℃ in steam.Other special grades are available,such as AFLAS that is compounded for rapid gas decompression resistance.

Product Details
O-Rings AFLAS 90 Shore black can be used in a wide range of applications.Temperature, pressure and media determine the choice of appropriate materials. In order to be able to assess the suitability of the O-Ring as a sealing element for a given application, the interaction of all the operating parameters have to be taken into consideration.

1.Static application
- up to 5 MPa for O—Rings with inside diameter > 50 mm without Back-up Ring up to 10 MPa for O-Rings with inside diameter
- < 50 mm without Back-up Ring(depends on the material, the cross section and the clearance)
- up to 40 MPa with Back-up Ring
- up to 250 MPa with special Back-up Ring
Please note the permissible extrusion gaps.
2.Dynamic application
- Reciprocating up to 5 MPa without Back-up Ring
- Higher pressures with Back-up Ring
3.Speed
Reciprocating up to 0.5 m/s
Rotating up to 0.5 m/s
