100% pure PTFE, white with hardness 55 D, is resistant to almost all chemicals apart from fluorine, molten alkali metals and halogens. It also has very good sliding properties. When virgin PTFE is not sufficient, We can choose for PTFE with a filler to obtain better properties. Glass fiber filled PTFE, it will has higher stiffness and better wear properties, not usable for soft metal counterparts and limited hot water usage.
